We have just had the great news that Ransonwood has been given a QED seal for Quality, Excellence, Design by Digital Book World. It’s a “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval” so the user is assured that this title will render well in whatever their preferred reading format. Wahoo! We now have our fingers crossed for the awards … eek.

Congratulations! I’m pleased to inform you that our judges have reviewed your entry and have determined that it has met our requirements for a QED designation.
As you know, the QED is the “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval™”for ebook design and formatting. Your entry has successfully met the criteria established by our panel of ebook developers, passing all components of our 13-point test.
We consider the QED Seal, which stands for Quality, Excellence, Design, the “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval™” for ebooks and apps. Once earned, it signals to an ebook reader/app user that the title will render well in whatever their preferred reading format and that they can buy with confidence. It is an emblem that you, as a publisher, author, or content creator can affix to your ebook cover and metadata that assures readers they can read your title where they want, how they want.
Your submitted title may now use the QED seal (attached) on its eBook cover, in its front matter, on its product description page on eBook retailers, on your own web pages and blogs, and in all marketing and publicity efforts for the title. When submitting metadata to a retailer include the following note with the QED name/logo: “This title has received a QED seal for quality in eBook design. It can be read easily on screens both large and small.”
Regarding the status of your entry to the Digital Book Awards, we expect to be announcing finalists in all categories this week.
