Wonky Donkey hits best sellers

It’s not every week one of your studio’s book designs gets read by a Scottish Granny and hits the top of the best sellers list in the US and UK.

It’s also not the first time Wonkey has had a taste of success.

Pre-Scottish Granny days, it won the 2008 APRA Children’s Song of the Year award and the 2010 Children’s Choice award, while our studio took home the 2010 PANZ Book Design Award.

Over the past week, we’ve been pouring over old working files, piecing together the puzzle of what makes the Wonky Donkey story a big success. We think we’ve found the answer and we’d like to share it with you.
