As a leader in this market Patrick Lau is always looking for ways to keep striving forward. He was seeing schools from around the world increasing their level of engagement at International Educational Fairs with video and virtual reality tour presentations. The question had to be asked ‘How can you capture interest and continue the conversation?’ With an International School Recruitment app you can take a prospective parent on a journey into your school, show them your physical surroundings, school life, and team environment, and hear personal recommendations – all within the one product. This is more than a digital prospectus or an extension of your school website. The Macleans app is downloadable from iTunes, Google Play or the Macleans school website. Once the student is enrolled the same app has the ability to become the parents portal into their child’s student life displaying their daily timetable, student info and news.
The development of this product is limited only to the school needs and the imagination of Smartwork’s creative team. Throughout the process our design team worked closely with the Macleans IT department as well as the international team. What you see here is just the beginning of a product that can keep growing to meet the needs of the market and the technology. “Each schools International School Recruitment app will be a personalised product” says our lead digital designer Alistair Cook, as every school has their own story to tell and will take its students on their own journey.
